RALEIGH, NC. -Just one day after being emergency recalled from the Chicago Wolves (AHL), Pyotr Kochetkov appears in line to start for the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday.

Recalled due to an injury to Antti Raanta (who did not take part in morning skate) Tuesday night in Montreal, tonight would be Kochetkov's 20th game of the season with the Canes. 10-4-5, his .913 save percentage and three shutouts both either lead or are tied for the lead among the team's netminders.
Since being reassigned to Chicago in mid-January, the 22-year-old from Russia went 11-3-1 with a .918 SV% as a member of the Wolves.
In front of Kochetkov, Canes fans will have to wait a few more days for the potential debut of Jesse Puljujarvi. Carolina's new #13 took part in morning skate, but given that he hasn't had a full practice with the group, he is not expected to play tonight.
On defense, Calvin de Haan will play after Jalen Chatfield also suffered an injury in Tuesday night's win. de Haan, who has been the odd man out in the team's three most recent contests after Shayne Gostisbehere was acquired. Tonight, the two will be paired together.
